Vladimir Grillo (1946-2021), the well-known sports journalist has passed away!

Vladimir Grillo Sports journalist, commentator of sports events on Albanian Public Television – RTSH!

One of the oldest active journalists, finished his studies at the History-Philology Institute in the department of literary language in 1969.

On January 3, 1970, he started working at RTSH and stayed there until the end. Vladimir Grillo has a long career as a journalist and sports commentator. Initially, he started at RTSH in the culture sector. The first broadcast of the journalist and the most difficult for the moment since he started work was a discussion about the creativity of the writer Fatos Arapi.

From 1971, he switched to sports, when together with the operator Astrit Omeri, they prepared the show “Sport-Kalitje-Shendet” and then after Sports section on RTSH, where the Albanian public remembers him at the same time in the commentary of many matches of the National Football Championship, our National Representatives  and also various world sports events.

He passed away on December 30, 2021.
